5mm wheel spacers - Universal ok or Hub Centric recommended?

Hey guys, i had a question about 5mm spacers. I just bought some new/used wheels for my 07 type S and need 5mm spacers to clear the Brembos. I can find a ton of 5mm universal spacers but want to know if they are good enough and wonder if i would experience any vibration issues vs getting hub centric ones? Can anyone chime in with their experiences?

Thx!

Ok sorry...rephrase the content - would I be ok with a 5mm hub centric with the stock studs?

From my research (FWIW), a 5mm spacer is the thickest spacer you can safely use on the stock studs. Anything thicker and you'll need extended studs.
