Question +42mm Offset?

Is anybody using a +42 offset on 18 x 7.5 rims? Any problems with rubbing?

I seem to remember AcuraTL is running that setup.

I run that setup and have shaved the rear fenders and cut away at the bumper tab...plus you have to take off like two fender well clips from the front wheelwell plastic lining...this eliminates almost all rubbing and i have like one finger gap in the back...if you dont want to shave the rear fenders and clear the front without any rubbing you would have to get at least a 45 offset, but you would have to shave the rear plastic bumper for a 45 offset also, but thats it...

i have volk racing wheels so i will assume the 42 offset is just that! i did rub prior to installing a the rear camber kit, and still do afterwards...i have 225/40 pirelli tires with eibach prokit springs. so far i have only shaved some of the bumper material and that has alleviated most of the rubbing. the only times i rub is on hard turns (something i can control), and when the roads get rough (not under my control) and i drive fast (again, controllable). i don't think i rub the metal rear fender lip at all.

the fronts do not rub.

Thanks guys! I was looking at some polished BBS RK's on ebay but don't want to shave the fenders. Guess I'll stick with the higher offset rims.

I have +42 offset with 18 X 7.5 with no rubbing. I only had to trim some rubber in the rear tire wells coming from the rear bumper, took less than 10 minutes and I do not have any rubbings even with 5 adults in the car.
