Hey guys was doing some searching and can't get a definite answer. Is 245/40/19 that big of a difference from 245/35/19? I'm currently running 245/35 and was thinking of putting a little more tire between me and the road, I have not yet rubbed with my current set-up even when 5 deep with luggage on a 800 mile round trip.

Mainly asking because I can get a sweet deal locally on this set-up pulled from a new car for $350, they are Michelin Pilot Sport ZR rated tires 245/40/19

that's a steal!! not sure about fittment/rubbing issue though.

I'm on Tein S-Tech springs and I just mounted and balanced 245/35 series tires on my rear 19x8.5 rims with +35 offset. Fenders are not rolled and no rubbing.
