235/40/18 fitment question

Thinking about picking up some cosmis wheels that are 18x9.5 +15 wrapped in 235/40 tires. I'm just not 100% on how well they'll fit and need some advice. My old setup was 18x9.5 +25 running 215/40 front and 225/40 rear. Lowered all the way on Tein street basis. Can anyone help me out with this

In the front your new wheels will be 10mm outboard of the old ones, which isn't much, but the tire will be like 20mm outboard in the front, and 10mm outboard in the rear.

Compared to my 18 x 9.5 +40 w/265/35, you're only a couple of mm out, so I think you can fit this new combo rather easily with drop/roll/tab. You might need a camber kit front or rear, you're literally right on the line.

Raise the car, put them on. Then asses options. Roll, pull, cut fender tab, until tires clear without rubbing...

I would not, as a moderator, suggest people pull unless it's a last option. Pulling is a great way to screw your car up.
