225/55/16's not lowered

Hey guys, just bought a set of 225/55/16 Michelin Pilot A/S for my 2000 TL with the stock 16" rims, but got a panicky feeling this morning that my ride will look like an SUV unless I lower it, which I wasn't planning on doing.

Any comments?

looks slightly large/thick and fills the wheelwell pretty completely to the side so that its "almost" coming out but otherwise, its a look that one can get used to. especially if you have aggressive looking treads
