225/45/18 ok ?
For my '99 lowered on H&R sports, I want to get some 18 x 7.5, either 45 or 48 offset. I read that the overall height of the tires will be .29" higher than stock with 225/45/18s, right ? Will they rub ? Would 215/45/18 be a better choice ? I want to stay at 225/45 for protection if I can. Will this extra overall diameter slow me down?
Thanks

get the 48 offset for sure.
dont go 225/45/18 as u will definetly rub with your drop.
go for 225/40/18 which is the size most people go with on the TL and CL for 18's.
technically it does slow you down, you might feel it...but even if you do its very minimal.
I personally wouldnt want to jeapordize any speed i have.
