20x9 fitment question

I am interested picking some 20x9 with a 42mm offset. I was wondering if anyone know will fit on TL? I am also planning to lower my car about 2 to 2.5 inches with some Tein's. Will have rubbing problem and do I have to roll my car fender?

Read this.
The only TL I've seen on 20's so far that I actually liked.

The basic math says 20x9 should be 55 offset. 20x8.5 needs only a 45 offset. Will the 10 mm (1/2 inch) make it rub? Ask has anyone ran 19x9 with a 45 or less offset and whether it rubbed...basically the same.

As far as lowering 2 inches, sounds like a joke to me so i don't know.

You'll definatly rub, I have my car drop 2.5" right now, but it's on stock rims... I haven't put my 19"s on there yet, but i'm sure when i do, I have to raise it up... And I thought you can only fit x 8.5 on the TL.
