20's on a tl?????

i bout a set of 20 inch lowenhart ld 1's last week with the idea to buy an older gs 400. but now i think im gonna go back to my original idea and get a type s. does anyone own or has anyone seen a tl or tls with 20's. are they to big? and do those of you with 19's think there is enough room to squeeze another inch. they are on 40 series tires. i also figured i would advertise my 18 inch hp racing rims that i want 1200 for and my 3 12 inch subs in a box that i want 400 for. thanks. if you can, please try emailing my aol account, superballs50187@aol.com

I think you might have a hard time fitting 20" LD1's....I had 19" LD1s with a +50mm offset, 225 35's and it JUST fit lowered with comptech springs.

What's the offset? I would imagine if you planned to put them on a GS4, the offste is no where near what you need for the TLS.

Yes you can fit 20's but they will stick out of the fenders and it will make the car look like a 4x4. I know this because I have seen a TL with 20's before at the beach. The problem is that the smallest 20 inch tire is 245/35/20 and I am running 235/35/19 and it rubbed before I started cutting pieces of my fender well.

Hope this helps
