2008 TL OEM wheel on a 2005 TL

Is there supposed to be a fitment issue when I try to put a 2008 OEM TL wheel onto an 2005 TL? My buddy at a tire shop says the center bore on my 2005 TL is slightly bigger and would cause vibrations if I put a 2008 OEM wheel. Is this true?!?!

You shouldn't have any problems with putting a 2008 wheel on a 2005. The center bore didn't change between the model years.

yeah, that's what I figured also that it should just a straight fit since the diameter is 64.1 mm for all 3G. thanks for the clarification, CltotheTL

The '08 utilizes the same brake, hub system as the '04-'06 so no problem. Only problem is the '07-'08 wheel on a '07-'08 TLS as the wheel does not have enough clearance as mandated by Brembo, 3mm min.
