2006 TL Type -S needs 1 new wheel

I was told that my wheel is not making an air-tight seal on my tire and I needed a new one. Where can I get a standard wheel other than my local dealer?

Also, need to know the difference between the:

ALY71733U vs. ALY71749U?

Thanks!

First, welcome to the forum.

for the wheel you can check our black market section. scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the forum jump and choose black market. You may find something there or you can try ebay too. Also www.acuraoemparts.com will have it brand new for a good price.

By the way there was no type s in 2006.

Yup, there were no Type-S in 2006, only 2007.

Who told you? Is the wheel damaged/bent? It could be the tire and not the rim. They also could used bead sealer to make a tight seal. I don't see how a rim could cause a tire to not seal correctly unless it is cracked, bent/warped.
