2005 Acura TL 6spd brembo brakes infrint

]At the moment, I’m running TEIN Flex Z Coilovers Honda Accord & Acura TL (2003-2007) VSA80-CUSS3 at stock lowering height, I want to get a set of Konig Ampliforms, I was thinking about running a 18x9.5 +35/25. Would this work for a great flush or should I get a different width. Do I need a different offset to clear the brembo brake calipers? Would I need to do a staggered set up for a natural flush or run spacers or would I need to run a different width on front/back for the flush? I want to order these ASAP. Eventually after getting them I would want to lower the car about another half an inch to a full inch. This is my first time messing with tires and I want to try to get it perfect.

hear me out;

noone on the internet can immediately look at the wheel and say for certain if it will fit your goals...
your best bet is to test fit the wheels to see if they clear brembos...as it's a matter of spoke design...or have the knowledge by experience to know what sizes and what types of wheels fit your car.

wheels and tires are NEVER plug and play, you will have to play with variables at hand...whether that be; finding the right spokes with the right specs, playing with camber, playing with height, playing with tire sizes...

I learned by hanging around people that did upgrade their wheels, and I saw what to do and what NOT to do....
ie; some people chose weak specs and some people chose too aggressive specs...as we each have our own goals....as in, we each have in mind what our car is supposed to look like.

Also the way our suspension geometry is designed, the wheels get sunken into the body the more you lower the car. So keeping all things equal (wheels and tires) you can't keep the flush look at both stock ride height and lowered.

You can't have your cake and eat it too, you need to figure out what takes priority, and what you can sacrifice (i.e. looks, driveability, tire size, tire life, virgin body)

Another thing to keep in mind is offset is irrelevant when it comes to determining if a wheel will clear the Brembo brakes or not; the key measurement is "Back Spacing". Said another way, 90% of the wheels with the correct offset for the TL will NOT clear the Brembo brakes.

Correct is a preference

I happen to think +22 offset is perfect for the TL, it may be a bit extreme for some. But I like 'em, and that's all that matters!

but agreed on back spacing, as the spoke design really matters.
