I had my TL tires replaced and other modifications made today by the Acura dealer based on TSB 05-050. They claimed they had no idea the TSB existed until I gave them a copy.

Well anyway, I had to pay for 25% use of the tires based upon my milage. It cost me $194 for the 4 replacement EL42 tires.

I am curious if anyone else had the repair done and what you paid.

i got them replaced for free (EL42s), but then i took them off and went with A-Spec and toyos. I have the other tires lying around, useless for any thing other than spares/replacements.

Does anyone know if this TSB only applies to non-ASPEC 2004 TL's. I have a 2004 ASPEC and have under 30K miles and I just put on my third set of tires on the rear. The previous tires were Michelin Pilots and didn't last a year before they had to be replaced. The Pilots on the front a wearing fine.

I got my tires replaced for free.

The deal was they had to be the stock Bridgestones.

The second set lasted a lot better than the 17,000 miles for the first set.

Rear toe in was adjusted. I don't know if they added bump limiters.
