2004 TL 330K mile Sagging
I got my TL right after it was released in 2003. 330k miles so far, mostly highway. I drive it as more a luxury car.
I've been updating my suspension, trying to get my original ride back.
I found that it was sagging and camber is out of compliance.
I'm down 1.25" from its original height. I know from reading a lot of you like it lower, but its been tough on tire wear.
The camber is -1.3 on the driver side and -.9 on the passenger (just in compliance).
I've read that there is a belief that springs generally don't sag, that its the other components (mounting bushings, cushions etc) that give in.
Note: My struts are fairly new (40k miles ago), but I believe the rest of the components parts are not.
Haven't found any reasonably priced assembly's out there.
The Acura OEM version is $160/each.
I put the Monroe version on the back 6 months ago.
They don't appear to have one for the front.
There is one for the 2004 Accord - Monroe 172123L & R. Does anyone know if that might fit the TL??
Any thoughts on what I should do?
- Replace the springs with factory oem ? Any other choice?
- Replace the entire unit with an assembly
- Do nothing.

^^.
KYB makes strut plus assemblies that replace the shock, spring, and all other small components involved between the tophat and shock mount
They come with a lifetime warranty, I believe.
They're pre assembled and ready to bolt in.
And can tell you that they are quite a lot better than Monroe.
