19x9 45 offset?

I'm thinking about purchasing wheels in 19x9 45 offset. I was wondering what the fitment issues are on this spec size and if there is anyone here with wheels in this size?

THose should fit perfectly and flush with the car. They are almost equivalent to my 19x8.5 with 35mm offset.

True. I tried 19x9 with 45 offset before. They fit perfectly.

No, those are 19x8.5.

19x9 should be OK even if you lower your car for 1". When I tried them, the car was lowered about 1.5" on Tein Basic.

i'm just a little concerned as i dont want the wheels sticking out too much. Was it completely flush with the fender or was it slightly in a bit?

On my car back then, lowered 1", nothing sticks out at all. The top of the wheels and tires are completely under the fender.

Of course, if your car is NOT lowered, they may look like they stick out a bit, because when the car is lowered, the suspension actually tucks in the top of the wheels into the fender a little. It's all due to the suspension range of movement.

19x9 at +45 ETactually sits a little deeper (3.75 mm, 0.15") into the fender compared to 19x8.5 at +35 ET. At this point, my car is lowered at 1.5" F and 1" R, and the wheels are totally under the fenders. So 19x9 with +45 ET should sit even deeper than that.

I used Tein Basic, not SS. Ride was too stiff for my taste but it improved the steering feel and handling by a considerable margin.

I switched to Koni/Eibach and the ride is much more comfortable but I also gave up much of the improvement Tein gave me.
