Correct me if I am wrong but I remember seeing the post by RONJON on a Silver TL. It looked really nice.

It might look nice... but just like running with wider rear tires. This will not increase performance/handling but it might hurt it.

The speed sensors will get different rotation speed if you go with taller rear tires. It will sense that the fronts are spinning faster than the rears and it might trigger VSA or ABS prematurely.

I think It looks good, the only reason I brought it up was because I did it on my 91 mr2. The rear wheel would always look smaller than the front, due to the shape of the car. The staggered wheel sizing make a world of difference as far as looks go. I know that it will not increase performance in anyway but it will add to the look and stance of the car. If I wanted performance I would buy a 240 and drop in a RB-26!

I did it for BBK clearance really, since I wanted 20" all around.
Got a new 20" wheel with a 3" lip and BBK clearance.

Here's the TL with the same 20" rear, and 19" front for BBK clearance:
No drop on this one-

Yeah I have the same question. I noticed that on the black TL the tire size are 1 inch different in overall diameter. Did it cause any problem with the ABS and VSA?
