Nope... 19x8 will fit but you need atleast 45 offset at the minimum....

Not even 47+ You need +49 or +50. That's perfect offset for 19X8. I know this because I did lots of research before I put my 19X8 lowenhart.

Cool Offset

Hi!,
1st of all, i want to complement your awesome & coolest TL i have seen in this website(for me). Secondly, your wheels fit in your car like j lo with her you know. I envy your ride dude.

If you dont mind me asking you this, do you think a Racing Hart CR Multi Piece 19" will fit a 2003 TL Type S and why? I would appreciate a technical response since you prove it by the looks of your cool kar.

Thank You Sir!

19x8 +50 offset and a 225 series tire will be a perfect fit. no rubbing, even if lowered. if u get a 235 series tire you MIGHT rub. but that can be fixed by cutting the bumper tab or, if necessary, shaving the fenders.

not 100% true, some tires are wider than others regardless of what they say. some 235's are wider than other 235's.

Some tires have a squared-out shoulder which will widen the overall width. But we're talking +.2" max...not a whole lot to make a difference between brands; that is with this particular wheel spec.

that is true some 235 are thinner, ie: falken ziex 502.

i was running 19x8.5 with 44 offset with 235 falkens and didnt rub (dropped low), but with now with 245 Pirellis, dropped, i do rub with three people.

40 seems pretty low and the rims may stick out far but then it might not but i'm sure it'll stick out, with the 44 offset i have, the rims in the front stick out maybe a 1/4 inch (with out drop).

sorry if this was jibberish, its early.

Do you think you will be able to slam your car with a 235 set up having +51 offset? I'm thinking about runing 235 tires with a +52 offset. I don't want to worry about rubbing, so if I have to sacrifice some lip on my wheel, I will go with a +52.... let me know your thoughts.

I'm thinking about some work eurolines, I can go with a 19x8 +51 or +52, with a tire set up of 235/35/19, just don't want to loose the deep dish look by going so high... but I don't want any rubbing issues as well...

You know what's funny Hornda, I have some Motegi's DP5 in gunmetal w/ polish lip... 2" lip on it, +45 offset in 18's... Which by the way are for sale.... I love those wheels, and the KH are almost identical, but you just can't beat 19" and Work really does a nice job with the KH. So do you think going with +51 will be fine with a 235/35/19 set up?

Thanks!
