I would like to know as well. I am looking in to 19's but the 35 diameter on Philadelphia streets will not cut it. I will bend my rim everytime i drive. Can you get a 40 tire on 19's and still have a 1" drop with the Eibachs?

Yea they are out there, but it would effect your speedo.

tirerack.com has alot of 40 series tires for 19's

How much harder is the 19" vs. stock 17". What I have read, it has a lot to do with the brand and model of tire. But thats what I have read? I am very curious. Should I get 18" of 19" wheels? I have a 07 Silver TL-S, should I drop it an inch? I am getting the A-Spec body kit once I find a decent deal on it? Wheel come last because I don't know what to buy??? And the price of wheels and tires What brand wheels are good quality without spending a fortune??? I have the recent 2007 Ultimate Wheel & Tire Guide, and 2 other tuner mag's. I don't like chrome! I like a chrome or polished lip, but either silver or machined aluminum center. Maybe black or grey center. BUT NOT a 100% chrome wheel! NO defination!

Not exactly sure...but there are calculators out there for it. Check with tirerack...ask them in a email, or hope someone else here knows.

If you look at how many turns per mile on the stock tire vs. the new tire you can get a close estimate. If its not alot, I wouldn't worry. Example: When your stock tires are new, say there 25.5" high. when there almost worn out they will be around 25". I am just guessing. So if the tire you want is about 1/2" taller, it won't make a big difference.

You can go to tirerack, find your stock tire and size, go to specs and it shows all the numbers. Then get the specs on the size tire you want to put on and compare.

Probably that inner circle is exactly 19”, but wheel has another 1”+ covering tire.

Cool

Here's a link that I hope helps you out some. I'm also interested in possibly going to a 40 series tires.

Excellent link. Thank you.

Tires are a bit wider than they are in the real world, but it is still great help to visualize potential changes.

Wow that is a great link you have. It tells me everything I need to know assuming that the stock offset is +45 which I think it is

yeah agreed, the visual helps.

Heres the one I used. Even shows the difference in speedometer readings vs actual speed
