^^^Me too.
It's imperative to torque exactly to spec...if you feel the socket start to slip. STOP and reattempt. They are SUPER soft metal.

Someone on here actually had a pretty good solution and that was to just use some oem honda open ended short lug nuts. MUCH stronger metal. If you email ichiba it's $2 per nut and another $8 for shipping for 3.

Either way though, I rode around with only 4 nuts on both sides for quite a while with no problem.

The problem with the original spec 235s is not just width but a glaringly obvious lack of rim protection. I have curbed the hell out of my rims as a result of 6 yrs of use, even being ultra careful. After much research in 2009 I switched from the OEM tires (you can read my old thread about the ULTRA crappy Yoko ES100s that turn into black powder) to 245s. I wanted chunkier tires with rim protection but the way 255s and 265s bend and stretched seemed overkill to me. Besides, 255s and 265 tires are hard to find and considerably much more expensive. I went with Goodyear F1 all-seasons since these are my winter wheels.

I am glad to announce this setup is exactly PERFECT. They are noticeably chunkier, giving that wide stance. They fit the wheels flat against the flange and offer decent rim protection. They are just slightly higher in aspect ratio than before but aesthetically it looks more balanced and proportional than before, with no serious change in wheel well gap. They don't rub at all or feel heavy at the steering wheel. They are quiet and VERY grippy in all conditions including snow/ice. Combined with my lowered suspension and RSB the car handles like a champ, you can push curves at crazy speeds with no drama. Highly recommend this setup.....Now if only the car was 500lbs lighter, it would feel like a 3-series....
