18x8.5 with +35 offset, not a good fit??

Hi,

I've been looking at getting a set of Axis Hiros. I've seen a few members on here have them. I've been to a couple places and they've told me that 8.5 with +35 offset isnt' a good fit for our TL.

Right now Im not dropped but I'll probably be getting Tein Basics in the next year.

Can anyone chime in on this?

Thanks!

anyone know the reason why they said it wasn't recommended?

I beg to differ
18x8.5 +35 with 245/40-18 tires... and I have enough room to run 265/45-18

This would be the exact same setup I plan to run very soon.. Hypersilver 18x8.5 with 245/40-18's, I don't forsee this being any problem at all.
