16 inch wheels and tires possible?
I have an 04 TL. I want to finally buy some winter tires. Tirerack says I can buy 16's for my car. I'm sure it would fit. But would it be bad for the car? Prices are cheaper for wheels and tires but I don't want it to harm the car. I think 16's would be physically better then 17's in the snow.
I've looked around for used wheels but can't find any cheap for the couple of winter months.
Thoughts / advice?

I had 16s on my 2G TL and they were wonderful in the winter!! Unless you have a BBK on your TL, they will fit without issue.

But in the winter, skinnier tires have better bite.
