07 TL-S Rear Sway Bar Upgrade Options?
Ok I did a few searches and it seems like there are 2 upgrade options for rear swaybars on the TL-S: H&R and Progress. One of the threads I came across talked about the mounts ripping off the frame. Has this been corrected or is it preventable? It sounds like the progress bar may be too stiff. Can I achieve the same level of stiffness with the progress bar on the light setting as the H&R bar?

Comptech. Most of the failures you mention are actually running the 22mm Comptech. I personally think the bushing might have something to do with it.
I've run the Progress 244mm on stiff for about 2 years and no problem. I have refrained from upgrading the end-links though - I'm afraid of putting anyu more stress on that frame mounting point that you mentioned.

I have a Comptech rear swaybar for about 3 years with no problems. I wonder if the reason you hear about more failures with Comptech is that there might be more Comptech bars in use on this forum?
I'm using the stock bushings and not the urethane upgrade bushings. I had terrible problems with my Maxima using a Suspension Technique swaybar and urethane bushings: broken end-links, mounts etc. Those problems started happening about 2 years after install. My theory is the bushings are the culprit and not the bar.

I agree on the bushing though. I just think the beefiy Urethane bsuhing is too stiff for the monuting point.
As far the mounting point breakage, I THINK is was something like:
- 3 CT bars with Urethane bushings
- 1 CT bar with suppllied bushings
- 1 Progress bar with ?? bushings
With all the after market RSB's intalled, ~5 reported failures really isn't a lot. I do think it identifies a weak link though.
