'07-'08 3G TL Type S wheel QUESTION

Hey do you guys know if the center caps of the 3G 07-08 Type S wheel are gunmetal color? Would a regular Acura cap fit? If it does fit, wheel it look funny?

I googled the TL-S center caps and it says in the description that it is gunmetal, but the picture looked like a regular cap. Maybe they are too lazy to put the real picture of them on the website?

Thanks for your input in advance.

The center caps match the wheel obviously otherwise that would look pretty goofy with a dark gray wheel and a bright silver center cap. So to answer your question yes the Type S center caps are same color as the wheel...dark gray.

so the caps are actually gunmetal in color then? The center caps cost an arm and a leg. 30 bucks a piece x 4 = 120. I guess Ill keep looking for a better price somewhere online.

What do you think the going rate for Tl-S wheels without center caps is?

Thanks paperboy

There is a couple different shades for the 07-08 Type S wheel...keep that in mind! It should should match the shade that you have.

I merged your threads together so you won't have a ton of them!

The TL-S has gunmetal ones, the Regular TL wheels have silver caps. The A-Spec wheels also have their own colors such as chrome, sparkle silver, gunmetal, chrome look, ebony, etc.

Brand new wheels are like 200 something for brand new, you could also go the refurbished route, I don't think you would find them without center caps

normal users can't delete threads, only moderators can. This thread is good since people can search for this topic and if they have the same question, it's already answered!

Asking questions is better than wasting money and making a mistake! If anything your helping out by having a question answered that someone else may be asking or wondering!
