'04 TL Suspension Clunk
Hello everyone, I got an 04 TL with 96,000 miles on it. I just installed some Function and Form Type 1's about two months ago. Since the day I installed them, my rear passenger side makes a clunk noise every time I'm in reverse, turning. I don't think it does when I'm reversing straight, just turning. And I get my once in a blue moon clunk noises on the road from the passenger rear.
I can't figure out why it's making that sound but it does irritate me, cause I'm bit of an anal person about that stuff. My bushings look fine, nothing looks like it's rubbing.
Possible my top hats need simply tightened?
Thanks guy.

Since when do motor mounts make a clunk noise? Especially from the rear of the car?
OP, make sure everything is tightened down properly. If you had Type IIs I would suggest that you check the dampening knob to make sure it's tight but that doesn't help you much

i put 19" rims on my 2005 acura tl and when ever i make right turns there is a clicking noise. It is most likely my back plate but when i jack up the front tires and spin it when it is turned right i cant here the noise. Any ideas?
