04 rear negative camber

Got a new set of Toyo tires on my car and noticed that 6 months later the tires were starting to wear. Had the car checked, front had a .5 negative the rear was at a 1.2 negative camber. Not only did I not like the looks but it was eating my tires. Because Honds/Acura doesn’t believe in camber adjustment I purchased some rear camber arms from SPC and installed them. Now I have a .5 all the way around. The car looks better, got rid of my tire wear, and overall feels better. The car is driven in town only and no reason for excessive negative camber on the rear.

No reason for a camber adjustment as if it's out of spec something is wrong. It just doesn't decide to out on it's own!

i dont think -1 in the rear is very off at all, it was most likely your toe

The negative camber is designed to keep the ass end of the car stable.

Didn't read the entire post closely, but as stated above -1 degree +/- 30' is specified. If tires were worn feathered, not smooth, toe was out of spec.

The car is driven on the road not the track. With 4 adults I didn't like the looks with so much negative camber on the rear and it did increase tire wear. Add some luggage in the trunk made it worst. So I did it for looks, the cars ass end handles as well as before. I'm not a road racer and I don't believe every car on the road needs a large amount of negative camber to be road worthy.

It has nothing to do with being road worthy. It has everything to do with the design of the body and suspension. The fact is, the TL was designed to have -1° of rear camber, and you should stick to the specs for the highest safety.

i thought my post was pretty clear that i think -1 camber is NOT a large amount of negative camber. I could be wrong, but i thought i remembered reading somewhere that it is close to stock?
