'04 Accord vs '04 TL suspension

Help me get this straight-the 04 TL uses the same platform as the 04 Accord. Is that right? That said, Koni and Tokico won't acknowledge that their 04 Accord struts will fit the 04 TL even though every other year Accord strut is spect'd for the corresponding year TL. They keep saying that they haven't had a chance to "fit" them yet. Am I taking a mondo big chance if I get Koni yellows for an 04 Accord, match them with an Eibach spring, and put them on my TL? If so, looks like A-Spec for me. How much better would the Koni/Eibach set-up be, if it fit correctly, than the A-Spec?

i'm doing the same with Tokico Illumina's. the question for shock manufacturers is whether or not the valving should or should not be the same. accord and tl are very close, so i will guess they will just carry the accord application over to tl.

Was there ever a cross reference to this issue? ie. From 3rd gen TL to Accord.. What version, model, etc of accord shocks will fit a 3rd gen TL..?

You should be able to use koni yellows. Its what I have on my 06. Not sure why they wouldn't have it listed. The Accord and TL change generation in different years though. Just get the 05,06 application if its listed. Should work fine. (And yes they are normally cross listed with the accord.)
