04-06 vs A-Spec vs Type-S Suspension?
Test drove an 07 Type S and an 06 RL the other day. Type S Suspension is too stiff but other than that, I prefer it over the RL all else considered.
I really really like the Type S package aside from the stiff suspension. Steering is a bit heavy too but I won't get that picky. I'm thinking of getting an A-Spec and modifying the engine/exhaust, or getting a Type-S and putting softer shocks and/or springs in.
I know you enthusiasts are probably cringing at the last statement. I used to drive the 2nd Gen Type-S, have been driving a 350HP Volvo S60R AWD with electronic adjustable suspension. Time to go back to Japanese and an automatic. 6spd has been fun, but I need to swap cars with my wife.
I definitely want the newer 5-spd auto in the 07 and 08's. Complete A-Spec kit installed is overpriced. I think best idea is put 06 springs/shocks in (I hear 07/08 they made the regular TL more mushy) and get some 18" A-Spec Wheels or other 18" wheels.

Funny how you get different types of responses to questions depending on the type of car. The BMW, Audi, Volvo and Infiniti owners actually reply with something helpful instead of a critique of the original post or a sarcastic comment. Thanks for all your help.
Being a previous Acura owner, I know there must be someone one here that will take a minute to actually answer the questions.
Oh so let me be more clear then regarding the questions:
1) Is there an A-Spec kit for RL with body kit, suspension mods and wheels and if so how cheaply can it be had?
2) If no A-spec kit, what would you recommend, on a tight budget, as far as making the suspension have a bit less body roll without getting to stiff? My guess is rear sway bar.
3) Wheel and tire recommendation for better appearance but all-season driving?
