Hey guys whats up

I have been searching around the forum and I cant come up with a good answer to my simple question. I am about to lower my TL and seen a lot more options with accord suspension.

I hear that that the accord springs are the same as the Tl springs is that true? direct swap? I heard something about top hats. My setup that I would like is full coilover but I hear you must change some top hats?

. Someone told me on the forum I should change my top hats out for Type S ones I have a 04 auto if that helps.

I have t0o many questions sometimes so if someone could inform me and other members as well on. I have found answesr but I want to be safe and sure before I waste 800 bucks on something.

springs and shocks are direct swap. My suspension is for accord, and since I got springs form one vendor and shocks from the other, they weren't put together. So when I took off my stock suspension I used the stock top hats. But I don't know the difference between the accord top hats or type s or base.

I heard from a person on the forum that if you have typs s top hats it feels firmer and supposed to handle better. I just dont really trust someone that says something I would rather have someone tell me with great knowledge that it works or not. Thanks for the reply

I am guessing here but top hats need to be from a TL because I am assuming that bolts from the accord top hats don't line up with holes on TL chassey. so either top hats you use, base or typs s, they will work the same. Maybe typs s ones are a little stiffer but I bet you wouldn't notice a difference at all.
