XM Radio will not update stations
Does anyone know how to do a hard reset on a 2007 TL. Regular radio not the Nav System. XM radio will not update stations. Need to reset radio, tried taking fuse out and disconnecting the battery. Still radio kept preset stations and did not reset itself. Thanks in advance!!!

A little confused. Are you unable to change XM presets?
You should be able to set a new preset by pressing and holding the appropriate preset icon until the radio beeps.
If you want to clear all the presets, pulling the radio fuse should do it. The radio fuse is #5, are you sure you pulled fuse #5?
Click this line and go to pg 126

I don't have any channels on XM besides the preview channels 001 and 000. The signal has been updating for over a week. An XM tech said I needed to do a hard reset on the radio to clear the memory. I have tried pulling the #5 fuse and disconnecting the battery, nothing has clear the memory on the radio. When I connect the battery or replace the fuse, the preset stations on the FM channels are still there and the XM radio still shows it trying to update. I looking for a way to erase the radio's memory or how to do a hard reset.

Ahhh, dunno then. You might try disconnecting the cable from the XM unit in the trunk. To get a factory reset, you may have to go to the dealer. I don't remember ever seeing this issue discussed before...

I just saw your last post, clearly its the radio if its been refreshing.
Pull both cables, touch them together to discharge the system, and let the car sit disconnected for a few mins.
