anyone considered seat covers? Does acura even make these? I thought i saw acura seat covers on ebay or somewhere online, but when i asked the dealership they said they didn't sell them. I also personally think the leather feels kind of cheap, that is why i thought about purchasing seat covers, but i don't want them if they're not from acura. Anyone know anything about seat covers?

Agent_911..why would you want to buy seat covers...your paying 30 g's or better for a TL..for that kind of money your leather seats should not be cheap nor should we be having problem,s with the leather. When I finally was given all new factory seats it was nice, but I am still not happy with the type of leather Acura uses. Hopefully my leather doesn't turn out as bad as some of these forums I have read. If you have read my posts I am in the middle of writing Acura in regards to my seats and my swirls that were the cause of that dealership and hopefully they will make amends and make me happy..but I doubt it....

Yes .. I'm having the same issue with my new TL. The leather seems to crease rather quickly on the front seats [the side closest to the door]. I'm very disappointed with this considering I have only 2700 miles on the car!

Ohh Hot Wheels, trust I know how you feel! I recently just recieved all factory replacements on a new car and what sucks worse is that they ruined the original seats. It took 1 month to get all new seats from the dealership I bought my car from. Yesterday I was taking more pictures of my leather seats and mind you I have only had the new seats for about a week and they are already looking like they are cracking. I will be writing Acura and sending them pictures of my NEW CAR less than 3 months old and less than 1500 miles very soon! I am just loading up my ammunition of invoices and pictures of my car. So Hot Wheels you are not alone!

I had my leather replaced at 10,000 miles and i am getting ready to have it done again at just under 30k. It takes a lot of complaining to get it done but it is possible. Ferman Acura in Tampa, FL is a great dealership, if you are in the area. Good luck

You got Ferman Acura to replace your seats after 30K miles? I have asked them everytime I go there if I can get my seats replaced, and they say no because Acura is working on the issue or told them not to replace anymore seats? BTW, what year is your car?

Well, guys I went through tons of hassle after ACURA actually damaged my seats, but after a month of fighting I was replaced brand new seats, so it can be done. I bought my car in May of 2006 and only have 4,100 miles and it's only me driving my car and maybe a friend or 2 once in awhile and my seats are doing the same thing like all of you guys, but I was told through another dealership that seats are included in the WARRANTY so on my next and first oil change I will be hitting them up for new seats, so that way I can trade in my car for better value when I go to BMW and buy me the new 2007 335 Coupe. Not happy with Acura and my cousin works for Honda and I still get crappy service as a referral. Good luck guys!

I am having the same problem with my 06. I bought in in July and by late August I noticed the driver's seat showing creases and looking crappy. I took it to DCH Acura in early Oct for some other complaints including the seat. When I picked up the car the service advisor said there was nothing he could do, that it was normal. I asked to speak to the service manager and he said the same thing but he would talk to the Acura rep and call me back. Guess what, no call back. Should I keep persuing this? I only have 3,500 miles on the car and everytime I see my seat it bugs the shit out of me.

maxAmillion...I recently went to Acura yesterday and some of the service workers told me to email HONDA and to let them know how unhappy you are with your seats and the way ACURA handles their customers. I myself finally got new seats but only after a month of bitching..pretty bad customer service. To top that off I just noticed my car paint was flaking by the right front headlight and service man at another Acura delaership told me he would call me in a few days so that way we could take care of the paint before it gets worse...well guess what..no phone call..so now 2 dealerships that have blown me off..I can't wait to write Honda and let them know all the BS I have gone through. I also have evrything on a cd when it comes to all the damage my car has been throught because of them and the recent paint flaking..not good..so give them hell and eventually you should get something out of them..I did..I got new seats..

If anybody on the site has an TLs, Please PM, I just picked up my TLS yesterday, I noticed Im getting a banging noise in the rear right, It sounds like a strut or a shock that is bad on my new TLS.Has anybody had the same problem. Thanks

Ok it looks like Acura is going to replace my leather seat. Do they replace the seat bottom and back together, or is this something else I have to fight for?
