I just got back back from a 1000 mile trip from the Denver area to Utah and back. I was driving my wife's TL and was surprised at the stability. Rock solid in sweepers at 100+ and I saw 132MPH on the GPS for 5 miles. Very straight and unlimited visability. Averaged 74MPH and 30MPG for the trip. Much more impressed with the car than I thought I would be. Now if someone would fix the the auto-slam doors I'd be really happy.

What's the top speed of a TL automatic?

 

The faster I drive my TL, the better it feels and rides. Strange

 

I think I hit 100 mph once, just to see how she would do. I wanna say top steed for the 5AT is around 140 or 150.
