Weird vibration

got new tires installed with road force balance.i was getting some vibration at 80 miles so i took it to another place.had alignment and another road force balance..now the steering vibrates starting at 65miles...i asked them and they redid the balance with no change on the vibration.

HERE COMES THE WEIRD STAFF..I NOTICED THAT SOME TIMES I AM CRUISING AT 65 WITH NO VIBRATION.I LET GO OF THE GAS AND THE STEERING STARTS VIBRATING.I STEP ON THE GAS AND THE VIBRATION GOES AWAY..ANY IDEAS?

How many miles do you have on your car.

I would check 2 other things.

1. Check to make sure none of your wheels are bent.

2. Check your lower control arm compliance bushings. Don't be surprised to see some cracks. If they are torn it can lead to vibrations.

That sounds like an axle/CV joint symptom to me....

They should be able to tell when it is on the balancing machine. The thing to keep in mind with balancing equipment is that a huge part of it depends on the operator. Verify that they checked them.

The TL is not the easiest car to balance so you almost have to make a list and go through each one.

Good luck.
