weird noise coming from passenger side front of car

i have this weird noise coming from the passenger side front of the car.. it doesn't have that "hum" like most cars.. but sounds like my tensioner or something.. not sure what it is..

check out the video... (this is when the car is idling)

i know about the powersteering and i've already fixed that. no more bubbles in my system but this sound is really driving me crazy..

when i accelerate it sounds like i got turbo or a supercharger.. not sure what to make of it..

That doesn't sound good at all.. is that a snap I hear in the clip?.. yikes.. at minimum it could be a bearing or tensioner.. you're nearing your 105k service.. better sooner than later to get your water pump, tensioner, timing belt & drive belts changed. Definitely don't drive around until you find the culprit, b/c worst case is it's timing belt related.

Try engaging your A/C as well and see if the noise changes at all. Look for belt smoot on the alternator & ac compressor housings. Push down on the drive belt with your fingers when the cars off & feel the tension in the belt & feel the ridges as well. Try to inspect the lower belt as well..

If those check out then remove the upper timing belt cover & inspect the belt, it'll probably already have signs of glazing at 101k miles, but look for teeth cracks or missing teeth or longitudal tears in the belt..

You posted a related thread about your battery light coming on. Remove your engine covers and check the drivebelt, look for wear & fell the teeth as I previously suggested. Check to make sure the tensioner is applying pressure and try to wobble the alternator pulley to make sure the bearing hasn't gone out. If you're getting a flashing battery signal it's more than likely your drivebelt, tensioner or alternator that has gone out. When you did your 105k service (timing belt, water pump, tb tensioner) they should have replaced your drivebelts as well.

Go to an auto parts store and have them check your charging system. The more I listen to it I think it's more than likely the tensioner or one of the pulleys / bearings. When I say wobble it's not typically visible, you have to get your hand over it and spin it while rocking it to see if there's any play once you remove the drivebelt. The pulleys / tensioner shouldn't make a noise and they should spin freely coming to a gradual stop, also check the teeth of the pulleys, they should be smooth & sharp. In the mean time you can get a can of belt dressing and spray down some of the pulleys to quiet the noise, that's definitely not the solution to your problem though.
