A possibility would be the APP sensor. It is located under the hood on the passenger side rear corner under a plastic cover. You can find it easily as there is a black throttle cable going to it that runs along the upper firewall. Apparently it's pretty common for these to go bad and it can cause weird throttle issues and sometimes without throwing a check engine light. You will find a ton of info on this sensor with a search. It's easy to swap and relatively cheap.
