rim scratched on the lip can it be fixed??

rim scratched on the lip can it be fixed??
My street is under construction and i guess they didn't completely dig up the speed bump leading out my street and my from driver wheel clipped it and my rims got scratched and a piece of my tire was cut also, the tire i got a replacement but i was wondering if this can be fixed on my rim? can it be buffed out ? if so how can i do this? or am i gonna have to replace the rim can someone plz help me on this matter thanks alot..

it can be done http://www.ehow.com/how_5340499_refi...me-wheels.html I know that anodized wheels you need to refinish the whole wheel and not just the damaged area.
