Washer fluid not spraying after windshield replacement
 

I noticed after having my windshield replaced on Friday that the washer fluid no longer seems to be working. When I pull the lever, I can hear the noise, but nothing comes out.

I saw the posts on here about a possible fuse being blown, but the everything else seems to be working properly.

Does anyone know if they have to disconnect the sprayers when replacing the windshield? I'm wondering if they forgot to reconnect them because when I try to spray them, fluid goes all over the driveway.

I also should mention this is an 08 TL, and the weather has been warm lately (GA) and they were working this week, so I don't think it is freeze related.

No reason to disconnect them. Hose must have come loose. Open the hood and trace the lines.

do you hear the pump when you turn the sprayer on? if so

1. check your tubing
2. take the pump out and verify it actually pumps water

No need to disconnect them. sounds like they did become loose.

the hose is either loose or crimped. check the line.

Thanks - I tried to do that as well, but I couldn't really tell where the lines as the actual reservoir looks to be down near the bottom of the front bumper.

I had my wife run the pump, and I could only see a little bit of fluid bubbling out underneath the plastic out under the passenger side nozzle (other than the pool collecting under the car). Is there a way to remove this plastic piece (the one where the windshield arms come though? This looks like the only way to check the connection on the nozzle, but it looks like doing this will pull up the seal from the windshield.

The windshield cowl cover needs to be removed and the windshield may need to be reinstalled. It's very possible that they installed it and pinched the lines with the new windshield. If that's the case then there is also a spot where water can enter past the sealant and get inside the car!

Thanks, yeah thats what I was thinking. In that case I'm going to have the glass folks take a look at it before I try to do anything.
