VSA Issues

The VSA light and the triangle with the exclamation mark will not go away.

Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of it or what the problem is?

The VSA light comes and goes but the exclamation mark will always stay on.

This happened after a random mechanic changed the oil, could he have touched something? even though an oil change is pretty straight forward...

Bad wheel sensor could trigger the light I think

It sounds crazy, but if your brake light switch under your brake pedal goes out, it will cause this. It happened on my Accord.

Honestly, it would be best to get the code scanned so you can pinpoint what the problem is. Otherwise you're just guessing. A regular scanner or what autozone has might not pick up VSA codes, you might need to take it to the mechanic or to a dealer.

yeah get the scanner and read the code to see what main cause instead of guessing.

Only way to tell is check what code it is but if I had to guess it would be a sensor logic failure code if the triangle is the only one on. This means you have to take it to a dealer and have them perform the "neutral position memorization procedure"(I'm pretty sure that's what it's called) if it was a speed sensor or something your abs/vsa/vsa triangle would all be on
