Urgent Help
I have 3 question!!!!
Is the TCM the ECM/PCM? Where is the TCM? and what is especially P0700 and how can i fix it? |
P0700 is a general trans code, thrown by the PCM when the TCM side has a code in it for the trans. A P0700 code normally indicates there are more transmission codes stored. You would not expect to see a P0700 by itself.
Most folks end up replacing the whole trans with a rebuilt one when they get this code at dealerships but you can take it apart and try to rebuild it but you'll probably run into more problems. Try to get a shop with Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) to pull out the transmission codes or see if there are any other errors. You should also notice the D light in the gauge cluster blinking! |
Yes D is blinking!
I have change the transmission! I think it is a old code or electronic? The other Code is P2270 but this is the Oxygen Sensor! Also is the TCM the PCM? Or is it two different things? When I change the PCM can I Fix it? |

When I change the PCM can I Fix it? If it comes back on there is a problem with the new transmission or your PCM/TCM. As far as I know, the TCM/PCM are 1 unit, however one harness on it controls the Transmission while the other controls the engine and so on. |
