I have 2006 3.2 automatic with navigation, I swap in an 2008 type s engine and engine harness and transmission subframe ECU and keys the car is running great unfortunately I have CEL and airbag light and VSA with the triangle on

and I’m unable to scan the ecu with the scanner(I tried different scanners)

can any help me on what to do
before I trying swapping the dashboard (also does anyone know if I can use an 3.2 07-08 dashboard for an type s 07-08)



I have a wiring diagram an I see something about CANBUS wire
also I bought something from heeltoe to add an canbuss wire but it says it’s for manual transmission and I’m automatic

 

The scanner powers up but I’m getting an no link/ no communication message

Did you swap the wires that go from the ECU to the OBDII connector? 07-08 use a completely different system to for the ECU vs UA6.

The issue isn't the dash, but the wire harnesses that are still UA6 and you need UA7 harnesses. The VSA can't communicate with the ECU, SRS and other systems.

 

So I should just change the wire harness on the dashboard to an o7-08
