typical syptoms of a bad bearing?
I've noticed lately that my '06 (60k miles) has a bad vibration/rumble feeling between 50mph and 60mph as well as a slight vibration at higher speeds. I also feel a slight wobble like feeling when making medium turns. There are no real noises coming from the car, which makes me think it's not a bearing, but I am being told that it very well could be a bad wheel bearing. I have ruled out the wheels and tires, because I have installed a different set of wheels with new tires and the problem never went away.
Could it be a halfshaft or halfshaft bearing as well? I am out of warranty, so I really want to narrow it down and inspect myself before taking it to a shop or dealer. TIA.

Just replaced my right rear wheel bearing at 91k. I suspected something was wrong when I started hearing a fairly loud rumble/whine that sounded like the tires were suddenly very noise, but no vibration. The sound grew every day until I took my TL to the stealership, who fixed it under warranty, so they are back to dealership status with me for now.

have you tried turning the wheel side to side when the noise is present and swerving from side to side to see if the noise disappears and comes back? heres my thread about my bearing problem

There's no real noise, so I'm starting to rule out the bearing idea. The best way to describe is it feels as though I have a bent rim or bad tire. Again, it did this with my previous set of wheels and tires, so I don't think this it. I may rotate the front wheels to the back just to rule it out.
What up front could be bad where it feels like a bent rim? A bent shaft, CV join, or bad shaft bearing? I tried the turning test in a parking lont and did hear any clicking...everything is actually very quiet.
