Transmission problem?

Transmission problem?
So when I drive the car I get kind of rough shifts from 1-2, 2-3 but nothing really jerky. When I'm coasting on throttle it feels as if the car kind of hesitates and looses power for a second then comes back. This happens all the time every time I drive it. Some occasions the car will just barely move even if I'm putting throttle, like it stuck in a higher gear and it takes time to come up to speed from a lower gear. Also, when this happens or at times when I use the tip tronic as maybe a solution to get around it, it'll be stuck in let's say 3rd and won't up or downshift.
Now I know I should change fluid and shift sensors which I will be doing. Another question is I hear a lot about 3rd and 4th sensors. Are there more shift sensors I should as well? 1 n 2 maybe?
Last question is about fluid. Should I really order the amsoil or redline or can I just go for an over the counter fully synthetic blend of type f fluid? Mobil 1, royal purple, castrol etc? I would just rather not wait for shipping.
Thanks for reading.

It may just be a sign that your transmission is going.
I've been having these symptoms for a while now.
What the transmission is doing is not fully catching and then when it catches you finally feel the power and torque, which sometimes pulls you back in your seat.
You may try to do an overhaul maintenance on your transmission like I did, which MAY prolong the life a bit more. Effectiveness varies of course.
+ Do a 3x3 transmission fluid change with Redline products
+ Change 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches
+ Clean solenoid screens on solenoid A+B, and solenoid C.
+ Replace transmission filter

That's what thought as well. Thanks for the response. Let's hope this works for both of us lol. After the maintence, did it actually feel as if something was fixed or not quite?

Here I come!
So no check engine lights? Have you checked the spark plugs?

To be honest, it does feel a bit better.
As for the slipping, it still does it.
When I take off from a dead stop - no slipping.
When I slow down at an intersection to turn right with a yield lane, it slips in second, then finally fully catches and pulls me back in my seat.

Just an update. I did switch my solenoids and it seems to have cured my issues. So for anyone with similar issues, go ahead and try these pressure switches. For both switches and gaskets it was $100 shipped.

please help
ok so today my car started jerking when i was on the freeway then it over reved but the car was not moving, (oviously tranny) so when i pulled to the side it would not catch any gear not drive reverse nothing but after a while it cooled off and started catching all the gears again. no codes were thrown nor the d on the dash board flashing do you guys think it can be the pressure switches maybe? or maybe a 3x3 atf service might make it better?

Your internal filter is clogged giving you zero line pressure which means the clutches will not engage.
After the trans cools down the clogging materials fall back off the filter and allow the pump to provide line pressure again letting the clutches engage.
Only way to fix this is with a trans rebuild.
