Thumbs down Tranny question
ok i got a 08 TLS 6 speed tranny laying in a box (30k miles on it)
the differential is fucked. gears are good. also tranny is disassembled
worth ne thing? or toss?!
taking up space in my garage!!

take it to a scrap yard for a quote on the value of the metal. you could get a few $$ that way

did the differential physically break? the concern would be material scattered throughout the transmission that would make it dicey to use again.

looks like the internals of the diff came apart.
rest of tranny looks good
i planned to rebuild but everyone knows how plans go!
