Tranny only 2 years old, pressure switches already bad???
Hi all,
I have a 2008 TL with a 2 year-old automatic transmission in it. Yesterday I got the check engine light along with the flashing green "D" Drive light as I was in 1st driving out of a garage, the flashing driving light went off after 2 mins but the check engine stayed on even after turning car off and back on. I went to an autoparts store and they pulled these codes.
P0843: Transmission Fluid pressure sensor/Switch A circuit high
83-1: Engine control module (ECM)/ Powertrain control module (PCM) relation malfunction
61-1: Battery voltage malfunction
Now as I mentioned before, my car has a transmission that is only two years old and never has had any problems like this. I checked the tranny fluid and the levels are good and the color seems fine too.
Now because I pulled the low voltage code I though all these problems might have been electrical. I unhooked the battery for about 2-3 mins and started up my car. No more check engine light and no flashing "D". I drove it a while at low RPMs and nothing came on. Then I took it on the highway and manually shifted it through all the gears as I merged. No problems after a 30 min drive and all gears seem to shift as normal.
Do you think I should take it to the stealership and have them look at it for piece of mind? What could possibly be going on here?

don't waste your money on that, unless it back other wise they will report "no problem found"

you will surprise when I first bought the car complaint about the noise during cold start up because tb tensioner goes bad, its tooks two Acura and one Honda dealer all of them report back as "everything is normal, no abnormal noise founded". They tried to tell me its the injector noise LMFAO. It was not until I dig deeper on youtube and AZ to know its the tensioner.
