TPMS issue addressed at dealer

OK.. so I got a 08 TL navi.. i removed my stock tires/wheels and switched to winter tires/wheels that had NO TPMS sensors. I stored the stockies in my garage stacked. For the first couple of days, the TPMS would obviously go off but then reconnect upon parking in garage. After a week, it stopped doing that.. i figured I'd leave it till I put the stockies back on.

ANyways, there's not much of a 'winter' happening in Vancouver, BC right now so I put the stockies back on. The TPMS light was STILL going off even after hours/days/weeks of driving. At first i thought give it a few more days for it to pickup the sensors but nada.

So.. took it to the dealership and here was their diagnosis/warranty report:

Codes: 32-1. 38-1 r/s tpms sensor failure
Codes: 34-1. 41-1 l/s tpms sensor failure
81-1. TPMS control unit failure

correction: inspected TPMS system: all operational. TEMP. related.
set tire pressure. re-initialized system. ALL okay.

the service manager told me that it was temperature related which was unusual? the garage got cold at around 7-8 degrees celsius .. would you
think that the TPMS sensors were affected by that?
