tired of interior vibrations

Whoever designed the center console interior for the TL, has a new job to do. His/ Her job will be to get rid of the vibrations throughout the interior of my car! Does this annoy anyone else? I have to turn up XM radio to drain the sound out. I'll admit they isn't much vibrations when the lid to the cup holder is closed and the two storage areas below NAVi are closed. But come on, a car like this shouldn't have these annoyances. What do some of you do to fix this problem??

Did your dealer do anything to help you yet?

I really don't think it's a design issue; assembly is the culprit. I and many others have no vibrations or noises from the center console area. As Rets suggested, your dealer should be able to remedy your issue.

Oh yes....this car has more rattles than a baby rattle. I can't even listen to talk radio anymore its so damn annoying. I have to crank out tunes to overpower the "rattle option package" that came with the TL. The driver side door sounds like it wants to fall apart. The glove box pretends to be Tommy Lee in a Crue concert. (Yes, the dealer has already checked it. Its being brought in again.) One year down....2 more to go.

I have 6000 miles on my TL and the only rattle was the storage compartments that was easily fixed. No other rattles at all.

The rattles of center consol, the lid to the cup holder, and the two storage areas below NAVi apparently were the hot topics once. Some dealers apply the insulation or padding to get rid of them. They may not be able to make rattles disappeared right away, but you should give them a few tires. IMHO.

I know how frustrated you are right now. But, hey, I had tons of rattles in the past, too.

Also, if your dealer is unable to fix it, how's about going another dealer? Different dealers usually use the different techniq to work with issues.
