Temperature Gauge working?

Hi, my first post on the site, excellent advice so far

My question is this: My temperature gauge between 20C and 30C (68F and 86F) when set, feels the same air coming through, until I set it to the max temperature where it blows HOT air. Could that be a problem?
Thanks for your help!

Well you're talking the heating system here. Yes, that would indicate a problem. Make your increments gradually from a comfortable setting, say 70 degrees, up the scale in increments of two degrees. Each time you increase the setting, wait a moment before making the next setting - perhaps as much as 30 seconds to one minute. Obviously when doing this, your engine has to be thoroughly warmed up. If nothing appears to be happening until you've reached the maximum setting, there is a problem.

BTW, do all of this in manual mode, not in the AUTO setting.
