Hello.
I have a problem with the sunroof, the sunroof works with the key (opening and closing). Only tilting (pressing the button) works from the button inside. Opening and closing does not work from the button. After removing the button and shorting the appropriate pins, all functions work, so the problem is with the button. I undressed the button and I wonder if some part is missing ... Could someone suggest what it looks like in a well-functioning button or maybe I'm putting this button wrong?

 

Hey buddy, I'm running into the same problem. I've had my windshield replaced, and had a shop remove my HFL, but ever since, my sunroof only tilts from inside, but works fine with the key. Did you find a fix for this or just replaced the switch?

 

@rush^^ hasn't logged in in about 2 years so he's probably long gone. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't bother to post a follow up with their fix. 🤷

1. ​​​​​ Have you checked the switch is plugged in correctly?
2. Did you try to see if you can do the sunroof reset procedure?
3. Maybe you need a new switch.

 

Wow, I fixed this in one day with a trip to the wreckers. Replaced sunroof switch (the wreckers gave me the entire overhead light housing). Re-installed the new one, and sunroof works like a charm! Woot Woot!
