Strange whistle sound from driver air vent when sunroof is cracked
Hey guys,
I'm new to here. Several months ago I curbed my car and did damage to a rim but nothing further, thank goodness. However, ever since then, I get a very noticeable whistling sound coming from the driver side air vent, to the left of the steering wheel. It only happens when my sunroof is tilted open.
It's as if an air duct cracked or came loose on the curb impact and when the sunroof is open it creates a suction through the crack, and thus the whistle sound. The dealership couldn't find anything, but I don't think they checked the air ducts for cracks. Any other ideas?
