Steering wheel and VGA light don't work.
Seems like a lot of people having problem with interior lights, has anyone attempted to replace these themselves or strickly dealer special knowledge? Are these LED's. Well, my mode and cruise on the steering wheel and VGA does not work, it's iritating me to know that something is not right if you know what I mean. Also, its 04 and 60,000 miles, dealership warranty cover this still or what? What is the warranty limit, year and miles. Thanks again in advance.

Warrenty is 4 years/50,000 miles.
My Volume and Channel lights just went out. ('04/55,000 mile).
I also am wondering if this is an easy enough DIY or do I need to bring it in.

I believed those are bulbs. I just replaced mine at the dealership (VSA, heated seat and some more on the console button). If your car is still warranty. I think they'll replace the bulb for free. Hope this helps

it's me, Alan Rickman.
I usually buy them at radio shack; micro halogen bulbs 2 for $1.50 or so. You have to remove the color cover from the stock bulb and remove the bulb from the stock bulb holder
It's pretty similar to changing out christmas lights; put the two wires through the two holes and then bend them around; then replace the color cover and you should be fine

Suggestion, if some of your lights don't work, give it a gentle flick or tap, got my mirror light and mode light to work. Temporary fix to get the filament inside to touch again.
