The radio control buttons on the left side of my steering wheel are not working. I am not able to change the station or the volume at all with the buttons. The lights are coming on at night on that side, but the buttons don't work. Is this possibly a fuse that can be replaced?

 

Fuse is the first thing you want to check. I know the radio fuse, under the dash, is fuse #5 (20A). Not sure if that affects the controls on the steering wheel.

 

I have a similar problem. The volume control on the steering wheel to lower the volume does not click anymore and the controls hardly work to control the radio. On occasion when I turn the steering wheel my volume will lower to off.
I posted a request for help today, 10/12/09. I believe I have a short in the switch and need to pull the steering wheel off and replace the 3 switch assembly but need a little assistance from someone who has done this before.
