Squeaky Wiper Blades
Local dealer replaced wiper blades on my 2006 TL but they are still squeaky when the wiper reaches the top of the windshield. It is very annoying.
What could the problem be?
Thanks

1) Check to make sure the dealer tech installed the inserts correctly-- sounds like the insert may not be secured properly at the top end of the blade.
2) Clean the windshield completely, preferably with glass polish or abrasive. There might be invisible remnants of some substance on the windshield (leaked oil, bird poop, etc.) which causes the blade to skip and squeak.
3) Tension problem with the blade/spring...see dealer again.
